The Supporting devices for specimens are fundamental in corrosion testing. The specimens support allows the DUT to be put in a way that does not interfere with the corrosion test results. This avoids dripping from the solution onto the specimen that stands behind one another, without this there would be a huge testing distortion. So, the user must know the angle of the specimen, which should be between 15º and 25º and the angle of specimen support must be made of inert non-metallic material.

Equilam’s standard salt spray chamber already comes with rods supporting specimens and it is all made with fiber glass avoiding metal in the chamber, meeting the standards. We also customize the specimens supports in accordance with the customer necessities testing DUTs.
